1. What is wrinkle minimisation, and how does it work?
Wrinkle minimisation involves treatments designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our approach focuses on relaxing facial muscles and rejuvenating the skin, giving you a smoother, more youthful appearance.

 

2. What's the difference between wrinkle treatments and muscle relaxant treatments for the face?

While the product used to treat both concerns are the same, the purpose of the treatment is different. For example, some people may want to work on the fine lines and wrinkles on their forehead, frown or eye area, others may want to relax the muscles around the mouth, jaw and lower face reducing the pulling effect which can make us look tired and older. Muscle relaxant treatment is also used to treat bruxism (teeth grinding) to relax  muscles, helping to decrease pain and discomfort in this area.

 

3. How does facial volume restoration enhance my appearance?
Facial volume restoration targets upper and or lower face to restore lost volume, enhancing your natural contours. This treatment can rejuvenate your facial structure, providing a more youthful and balanced look.

4. What is skin needling, and what are its benefits?
Skin needling, also known as microneedling, is a minimally invasive treatment that stimulates collagen production. It helps improve skin texture, reduce scars, and enhance overall skin health, leaving you with a radiant complexion. 8. Do you offer any skincare products?
Yes, we are authorised stockists of The Skincare Company products, offering a range of skincare solutions to complement your treatments. Skincare does not start and finish at the clinic. In order to maintain great results and protect your investment in yourself, it is essential that you have a good skincare routine at home, this includes a good cleanser, vitamin C serum, moisturiser with SPF50 sunscreen, night exfoliant serum and night time moisturiser. At Melbourne Skin Aesthetics we offer 10% off the recommended retail price on all The Skincare Companies products. Available in clinic and coming soon to our online store.
